Hi all
I have a phillips 37" model no 37pfl5522d everything seems ok on it but when i switch it on it last for about 30 minutes the the picture goes off but still have sound, I have read up on some other forums that say its could be the inverters but i dont want to fo out and buy them if its not
Please could someone give me some advice

when the picture goes of does the backlites go of at
the same time if so inverter fautly check the transformers
on the inverter panel

yes the backlite goes out aswell, Im not quite up to checking the transformers as i dont no how to i only can test caps etc as still learning. I also resoldered the transformers incase dry joint and also the caps

it sounds like the inverter panel chs hyde or ohmsupplies

Hi thanks for your reply could you explain how i could test the transformers on them also could the caps be breaking down
