technical term-what does this mean?

I'm trying to fault find a Hitachi 42pd4200.
I've checked va and vs voltages and found ok

Can anyone clarify this notation;

SW----------va no uprise, vs: down after up, ---------------Q300, D310 etc

I could make an educated guess ! I think it means when you switch on - does the VA voltage come up? and does the VS voltage come up and then go down? if so then Q300, D310 etc


and the same is the VS - no voltage and VA voiltage go up then down then Q500,Q501

i.e is the protection 'kicking in'

interesting theory.  In normal conditions wouold you expect vs and va voltages to remain constant (as per label)?

VS and Va voltages should remain steady and constant when the set is working normally and should be the same as the voltages on the label
