Hi,enter service mode possibly by holding in v- and input buttons on front control panel, plug into mains .Press & hold v- & p- and SIM should appear (sorry can't remember if it was via r/c or front buttons). Scroll to  eeb settings ,clean both and unplug set to exit service mode.Retune tv.
Sorry it's a bit vague,but I lost origional notes.

Hi John, thanks for the reply, but I have tried this procedure with both the r/c and the tv panel but it didn't work, I only have the normal main menu. Please can you look for the notes you may find it.
Thanks

Turn on Service Menu then go to page 10 and use options at row 1 and second, it should be  EEP Clear. Regards

Hi , found it on a european faults site. Switch tv on,unplug at mains, press hold input & vol- on tv whilst plugging into mains.  A 'K' should show ,scroll to EEP clear & press ok.
Press & hold vol- & prog+ together. You might have perform a factory " init " and unplug at mains.
