DTV2822 schematic needed
« on: February 17, 2010,01:20:55 »
Hi all.

Anyone have any info on a Diamond Vision DTV2822 20" Tv?

It is made in China and I am not  sure if there is any service support for it :wallbash:

Checked for cold solders, caps, supply resistors & there is no burnt or any components getting hot.
The set is turn on by the remote control & a whinning noise is heard coming from the start up transformer T901. Supply voltage 130vdc & 14volt supplies are coming out of the transformer T901.
There is no high voltage to the picture tube heard on start up & the tube heating filament does not glow?
TV's are not my electronics strong point. I have been it audio repairs for many years.   Thanks for any help.

Thanks for your reply lubos55.
Well things have changed now that I have shorted the heat sink of Q907 to the conductive material of the picture tube
Q907(2SD2500N) blew & R917 1 ohm. Now I am having a hard time finding the 2SD2500N part. Any good subs for 2SD2500N?
I did get I to work a few times before my mistake. Picture looked very good & all tv functions worked fine, but after turning off it would not always start up, so some thing may be still intermittent after replacing 2SD2500N?  Sure could use a schematic. The noise was coming from the start up transfomer T901. Again TV's are not my strong point.

Thanks lubos55.

Here's a photo of the mainboard & picture tube label.

Some of the components used in the chassis:  IC203 514ZOK,  IC201 R/TL015,
                                                                       M61266   M37150M8-111FP

 IC401 ( Vertical Deflection Booster) S1V9302A,  Q405 2SD2599N, Q907 2SD2500N,
                                                 880R8VW

 tuner label TDQ-6H3/13F2XH, audio IC801 TDA7267
Hope this helps. The Diamond Vision tv may be a Mitsubishi & it was manufactured 2005.
