Hi Guys new to site hope you can help
Toshiba TV 32ZP48P Problems are grainy and horizontal lines at start, picture then clears for short while before loss of picture just multi -coloured stripes like bar code effect, sound remains ok then after about 3mins TV shuts down and goes to stand by. Any ideas please?

You will require a new DFS module which has 30/40 pins to be desoldered before removing.
If your not a tv engineer,then get one to do the job.

Agree with John
MDFS03 module faulty must be changed

Wow thanks for the quick response Guys.
The price of the replacement part is a bit steep and with labour on top I wonder if it is worth doing.

give the Toshiba customer services a ring, its a common fault so Toshiba will supply the part for free, which is almost unheard of in this biz, they usually sent it to the engineer doing the repair so all you pay is a callout and fitting charge.

On a lighter side my wife had just walked in when I was looking at the link with the price and nearly passed out then, I scrolled down to your reply and the look on her face was a picture, never seen her so happy.

Result, got through on that number and they couldn’t be more helpful took all the details and the part is on its way, may take a week to ten days, then engineer to fit as and when.
Using 14” portable at the moment, so won’t have the big screen for the Grand Prix at the weekend ---- Boo--Hoo
