HP f2105 Monitor with slow refresh - smear - mouse image almost invisible

Hello all !  I have this HP LCD monitor on the bench, there must be a half-dozen model numbers on the back, but one of the numbers, f2105 was found on a site where I downloaded an instruction book, and so I presume it must be known by that name, at least for marketing. Besides having a very thin red vertical line about centre, which could probably be tolerated, stationary images can't hardly be faulted, but when the video info changes, the old info takes ages to disappear, leaving a very distinct smear. I'm talking several minutes. The mouse arrow is virtually impossible to see unless you know where to look for it. I've been looking at a video board online but haven't yet decided. Been around the electros on that board with the ESR meter. Rails look alright. Anyone know where to pick up service info or any experience with this problem?

Try to ressolder LVDS reciver on T-CON board of LCD screen. Regards

Thanks Pol-UK,   Would you please explain to me your suggestion - by 'receiver' do you mean the connector socket on the board attached to the display?  I cleaned the contacts and will resolder this to try.  There seems to be no variation in pix content when the connector is prodded. I have looked at another forum and there are quite a few with these symptoms. A couple have done blanket replacements of the electros on video, power supply and even the inverter boards and still have the fault. I've replaced the video board but the replacement was bought on ebay as a tested good board but it was no different. I can't change the display driver board easily as it's hard-wired to the display panel. If anyone can point me to a schematic it would be appreciated. I think I'll have another look with the CRO.
