it sounds like the power supply had got some blown/leaking caps you will need to undo all the screw and take the back off then look for the board that has the mains wire pluged into it ,take all the connectors off that board( they will just pull off) the mains one may have a locking lug to press first, take the screws out holding the power supply in place, once out you may need to remove some heat sheilding to see which caps have gone, you will know whick ones have gone by the tops bulging they should be flat.
make a note of the value's eg: 1000uf 10v or 470uf 16, whatever the voltage is you can go up a step from say 10v to 16v and from 16 to 25v but the value must remain the same eg 1000uf .
then you need a bit of soldering skill make sure they go back in the correct way they have a stripe on one side to determin the negative.
put it all back together and you should be up and running again , unless the power supply has eeprom
