TH-42PX70 Panasonic Flashing Light

any help would be great.

tv trys to power on but seems to trip out and flash standby light 7 TIMES, anyone with a service manual for this model let me know what this means

Hi

7 blinks usually indicates faults in SC, SU or SD.

Best thing to do is disconnect SU board completely and switch on and see if you get half a picture or if fault remains and then do the same procedure for SD board. (You can leave screen ribbons connected)

If still the same then SC board is likely culprit, the transistors can go S/C

I have a TC-P42X1 panasonic with a similar problem .
i replaced all 3 boards and still getting 7 blinks ,
Is there any chance that the power supply can cause
this problem ?

i think its this board at fault

Just be careful when ordering parts that you check the model number i.e Models ending with BA and B.
Some parts are different
