DM Tech LT17XTS - DVD.

Hi folks,

This one seems rather fun as the DVD mech fitted is of the horizontal variety but it is fitted vertically so the disc falls out as nothing secures it.

If disc is loaded horizontally, it says 'No Disc' even with a CD.

This might just be a failed guarantee repair - anyone seen the like  ? -- Chris.

had one of these where disk load spring had fallen off,also had one with faulty disk motor intermitant try spinning disk by hand for latter test

Hi Astro - and thanks,

Confess that I tried loading disc after taking set apart to photograph. Discovered after a quick lens clean then re-fitting the stand that set leaned back by a few degrees, and disc didn't fall out - and the DVD played.

More used to modern Flat screen DVDs that grab the disc at any angle then fail to play it.

No other observations, jest grateful  - Chris.
