toshiba 42wlt66 picture loss when warm

hi i have a toshiba 42wlt66 which runs fine for about 20 mins untill warm then picture will flash/ pause and gradualy fade to black with occasional lines across the screen i suspect the tcon but would like a backup on this theory as the board is 60 quid second hand any help please ? thanks

May well have a screen drive board - had a screen smash from recyling centre. Mine is a T420XW01, what's your one   ?

Yours, ever hoping for a fortune post-wise - otherwise blanket resolder screen drive panel chips - has done it for me - occasionally   - Chris.

hi chris thanks for the reply mate iv looked up your drive panel and mine is different mine is an fhd-cm e88441 i can do a piccy if you want for future reference .i found a large crack round pin 15 at t820 on the psu but im not that lucky. as the audio is constant ie no interfearence would you agree with my theory ? rgds dave

is this on both aerial and scart i/ps ??

hiya mate yeah same on all inputs but sound is constant so audio signal is good main board must be functioning just lcd signal is failing hence finger is pointed to the lvds board just looking for another opinion before i weigh out cash on a new board rgds dave
