toshiba 42wlt66 picture loss when warm

hi people this is wrapped up original symptoms were pausing of picture and flashing lines gradually fading to black with no loss of sound and inverters working normally replaced tcon panel number fhd-cm e88441 the tv is now functioning well and the fault has cleared  :72:

Congratulations - Guess you're one of those younger persons who never changed a U25, well, some of us replaced PD500s without turning the set off.

We tend now to have high pitched voices, well tellies were noisy in the late 60's with total 'killer' EHT trannies and none of that 'woofly' tripler crap.

Remember lighting a cigarette on a Thorn 3000 jelly pot lopt - had done it many times dry, before (with Rediffusion) but this time I was re-lighting one extinguished before lunch - lit up like Santa - lived to become self employed - Chris.

believe it or not chris i replaced a few lopt's got put against a wall by a sharp that didnt discharge properly i remember the old one screwdriver across the back of the tube one under the eht cap and hey presto even had a luxor go up in smoke on me remember the nordemende or as they were also known no mende lol .dave
