Acoustic solutions lcd26761hdf ,the set powers up screen lights with red,blue,green flashing raster.I think it could be due to the eprom ic. Could do with a eprom dump.It has the vestel chassis mb22-2.

Sounds to me that you are in "Burn in mode"
Try this using your remote

In order to reach service menu,
-- First Press “MENU”
-- Then press the remote control code, which is “4725”

In OPTIONS 1 you have "Burn in mode" If YES change to NO.

Tryed what you said but still the same problem.I don't get any on screen menu just red than blue than green flashing screen

After the green,it start all over again, right ?
Try to press a number several times on the remote to break the flashing,
even when the tv is starting,
then you can press the menu button.

I have the exact same problem but I don't have a remote, if I buy a universal remote am I gonna be able to program it while it's flashing red blue green? Get back to me asap please

See the first email was in 2010 so the TV must be 8 years old . Remember the old 26inch Sanyo CRT TV had the same problem and all you did was buy a new remote or even just get a similar one and use it a couple of times and then go back to using the original one
