Vestel 17IPS15-4 Power/Invertor

Hi Folks,

Need one of the above to check if I have an Invertor or Tube problem. Checked with ChasH but found that their 17IPS15-4 had a couple of transformers whereas mine has only one.

Think to post a couple of piccies - note that Sendz Components are doing some new 6 transformer invertors for a fiver each, (but not mine) as long as you buy 4.

Chas Hyde list a couple of these with the same number. One is for a 19" & one for a 16"

Hi Dougc,

Hadn't checked that far, but it makes sense. Admit my own problem was failure to start - PS secondaries were low and fluctuating as in S/by mode, but with no S/by LED, so suspect a main board problem.
