Atec AV370D Standby fault

Isnt C202 on the 370W?? I think I may have found the problem. U24 on in the middle of the main board. its a 1.8v reg and is a 1086xx18. Ive got some coming from RS, should be here tomorrow I hope

Bloody hell!! When I was a TV engineer I never saw temps that high but we never did any kind of flat panel, only CRT. Ive been to one of the shops that I used to work at today and he is over run with LCD's and plasmas. They don't build TV's like thet used to. I think a big problem with the modern set is the heat, I think they would last alot longer if they ran alot cooler.
