Hi,
Just been given this tv with no sound or picture, bin it i hear you say !! when you plug it in to the power supply it makes a crackling noise from the PSU area.
Just wondered if there is a simple fix or a trip to the dump ??

many thanks in advance

hi mate generaly there is a repair kit available you just need to identify the power supply model number on the board and look for a repair kit online .i use chs or ohm supplies all you need to be able to do usualy is solder but if your not confident dont do it ie dangerous voltages etc

Hi D/J,

Had one, attach my sad thoughts - nifty solderer though, even with pure tin - poop -   Chris

Hi Davenjax,

Not mine - it were perfect, but didn't go - chopped it up and sent to Brum and Cornwall - hope they don't take up against God's Turkey County - Chris.
