Sony KVC2521A (AE-1B) no power (4 leds)

Hello. I have this AE-1B Chassis old Sony Trinitron. I tried to replace c605 and c617 capacitors as per this advice:

Model: AE1A, AE1B, AE1C, KV2951A, KV-A2110B, ...
Subject: POWER SUPPLY POWERS UP, BUT STOPS AFTER 4 X.(C605,
Symptom: Power supply tryes to start up, but stops after 4 times
Cause: Values of C605 and C617 have changed, and due to this the load
of the chassis is to high to start the set.
Remedy: Change C605 and C617. Warming up the capacitors can sometim

However the TV didn't change it's behaviour.. tries to start up and stops after 4 times.
Any advice?

Hi Criz74,

AE1B is a hell of a while ago but - check/resolder P/S secondary diodes (and anything in the the Power area)for dry joints then check Line output transistor (near LO/P trannie with small heat sink) for S/C collector to chassis. S/C usually indicates duff LOPT. Some sets have a Black Wickman fuse - tube side of Lopt that goes O/C just for fun.
