Hi folks,
Had one of these in because when taken out of s/by the front led dimmed - and nothing else happened for some while, then eventually pic/sound OK.
Set uses the Profilo 05TA132B P/S (usually cap trouble-free) Found that C362 (100/400 - 24v side) was getting very hot (checked at 25Mfd >30 Ohms). Replaced that also changed C360(3.3/50) and C310(47/50) as you do.
Rewarded with flashing backlights - Spent rest of today shuffling P/S bits and checking for idiot made faults - found none this time - any thoughts ? - Chris.
PS - Thought to replace inverters from a screen smash - backlight flashed for 20 seconds, then was faultless.
Suspect I'm on a 'Sparky' here but freezing the 'ICE' chip area made some difference - but had changed it, and the caps anyway - Merde.
