HITACHI 22" LCD TV - STUCK IN STANDBY

Hi All,

I have two of these tv's both stuck in standby.  Mainboard is a MB29-2.  Power supply tested fine?  Has anyone got any ideas?

Might be worth trying the capacitor modification as in this post/thread.

Hi All, As advised Ive changed the cap (c141) to a 1000uf 16v and replaced the cap next to that one which was a 220uf.  Also I replaced the other 470uf cap (that was close by) with a 1000uf. Now on both sets the standby light flashes slowly, but still wont come on?  I've tried heating the U696 without success.

At least it doesn't look completely dead now.

Any other Idea's?
