morning all, have got a sanyo 26ld81. when switched on picture raster is completly red for 2 seconds then goes blue for 2 seconds then green for 2 seconds then back to red and the same thing repeats itself . the chassis has a 17pw22-4 power supply and a 17mb12-3 main board . it is the same chassis that is in a jvc lt-26dy8zj. any ideas ,  thanks

hi
check connection from tcon to mother board then try using scart out to
another tv tv if ok might be fault on tcon boarb thats fitted to screen

hi dave   have tried what you said but no picture on other tv . also there is no sound and the remote control does not work on the tv but have checked it on another tv and is ok . the fault is just as if you had an old signal generator and you had the three primary colour buttons and you were switching from one to another every 2 seconds

Try pressing the menu button on remote. Im sure I posted about the same fault and that cured it.

try cleaning lvd lead.had the same problem before with a philips set.

thanks sinclairtv you were right . i had the remote for the tv and checked that it was transmitting a signal. when i tried another remote and pushed menu button the tv came ok . can only assume that the remote went faulty and sent a jumbled signal to the tv. thanks again
