LG 32LC46 No pic or sound

hi sounds like the inverter to me and but that wouldnt account for no sound ..probably the tv is in ext /hdmi with no inputs connected .connect the tv via scart to another tv and see if you get a picture coming through on the tv your connecting it to .dave

had a couple of these wee cheap combi boards with inverter transformers O\C on the secondary coil also the wee blue caps tend to go down, change the caps first see if that brings your backlight up if not theres a good chance one of the transformers on the inverter has gone down or is dry jointed. This is the powerboard in my lg its not the one with the combined inverter, because this is from the 2007 model.also this is the invertor board aswell....
