Samsung DVD-SH873M clock problem

Hi,
I have one of these in which has a problem with the clock display. It shows the correct time when you switch on, but the clock does not count up it stays at the switch on time & only updates if the unit is switched off & then back on.
I have updated the firmware, but this has made no difference.
Any thoughts Samsung experts?

Hi Mark,
Here's some info for the DVD-SH87.. series:

Clock Display Freezing and Manual Clock setting does not
have Auto On/Off Selection.
This is due to IC FIC1 on the Jack PCB.
Replace Jack PCB, because IC FIC1 is N/A, part no. AK92-01628B
