Li Shin Power Supplys
« on: September 30, 2007,13:16:45 »
Hi has anybody had any success in repairing Li Shin external psu's 12v 6a comonally used in toshiba, bush, ect.
I did once replace caps in secondary but soon failed again.
These psu's fail and cannot supply the current resulting in flashing led on psu or no backlights on tv.

I hope this may be of help to some one, after replacing all the caps in the external power supply. I removed the clear silicone type glue on both sides of the pcb.. So far so good maybe its cured it.
As recommended by another well known database system.
