Samsung LE26A457 Blurred/Double Vision
« on: August 05, 2011,06:08:57 »
Hi
I am new to the forum, so hi, I have decided to try and repair the head scratching TV's that have been clogging my place up, so here goes for the first one.

I have a Samsung LE26A457 and the screen suffers from DoubleVision/Blurred, if I turn the TV on, instantly  the TV works ok, the "No Signal" is blue no blurring, as the  "No signal" sign jumps around the screen as like a screen saver it goes from blue to a putrid green and gets really blurred....like watching 3D without the glasses on. If I leave the set on it does get a little better but not watchable.

After searching Yahoogle I cannot find anyone with the same issues, I can provide pictures (thats if the forum lets noobs upload)

So if anyone can shed any light on this one it would be appreciated.

Hi
Thanks for your reply, I have tried this and it doesnt do anything, whats getting me is that its ok when first powered up, then the screen seems to go through a cycle where, like mentioned earlier the screensaver jumps across the screen the colour changes and the blurredness comes.

Hi

Does the set tune in?
Is it the same if you feed the scart output to another set?

If yes, then probably Tcon or faulty screen
