Inverters - general
« on: October 22, 2011,13:24:15 »
Hi knowing folks,

Note that most inverters have inputs for brilliance and on-off, are there general voltages to check on these inputs - ignorance is yet us - Chris.

PS - Only entered this as have a Technosonic LCD3201S, using Inverter  – CMO I320B1-16A where 24 supply is Ok, all fuses are Ok, set has sound, 'LCD on' is 3.5v, but still no backlight - wondering why no pic  ?

Hi,
Inverter transformers are quite common, shutting down the switching IC.
Could compares readings for like transformers on board for any obvious resistance
variations.
Regards,
John.

Hi John, and many thanks,

Darfon trannie swapping man meself with the odd LG O/C duff burning secondary under the belt (thanks Hero Tony). Thought was that inverters generally would try start if voltages were appropriate.

Replacent inverter in question, supplied by a good Quuq source, perhaps need another for fresh try - Chris
