Cheers Dave..will private message you later on today with details

jacqffio:
Hi Scooby.
I use www.lcdparts.net.
They are american but usually get my order within a week.
If you check out the site they even give you the correct readings for the transformers and which pins are primary and secondary.
Ohm also sell single transformers.
Cheers
John.

Cheers John

Im liking the site...love the way it tells you the readings and pins you should be reading from.

Thanks for that much appreciated

Ohm Supplies:
We've been selling single transformers for some boards for around 4 years now with very few problems apart from were to source them from,  As they're sm (normally) but quite large and in most cases easy to fault find as they;re often next to at least another 7 tx's that read well its a good repair to do.

regards
Andy

scooby-doo:
Cool thanks Andy. I do like doing the inverter faults...Could I ask about tolerance on the transformers

I have a TV at the minute and usual, cuts out after a couple of seconds...the site lcdparts.net says the secondary readings should be 980ohms...I am getting around the 1.1k ohms mark with 1.107k being the lowest and 1.196k being the highest....all six are quite consistant but way out of what they should apparantly be...surely all six wouldnt fail at the same time
