Slow starting LG's...Cant find the post

No, I'd leave them alone at this stage, especially as you have found blown caps in the PSU. When the filters fail they normally cause slightly different symptoms. Do the filters in your set have a tiny yellow square "dot" in the middle of them as these don't need to be replaced?

I decided not to touch the filters and just replace the caps...the TV is working fine now
