Hi Doug,

Guess it's the 5v S/by FSD210 pop problem - admit, had one, got a full repair kit -fitted it then needed a new PS board to repair the set.

Can't win 'em all Chris

Hi Doug,

Always had the prob of customers demanding return of quote refused sets - Then found a front man who doesn't mend terribly well but can handle any customer and they always leave the shop smiling, leaving those sets for scrap.

Don't know how he does it, talks a lot, has incredible empathy - but he's no technician - invaluable - Chris.

Hi Doug,

When I was a young sprog of a technician back in the early 60's, this chap was a senior seviceman for an infamous rental company, now long gone. He then became a shop manager for a local group, then went offshore to make the pension oil pound.

His wife would now move to Spain, with a pool in the paddock and golf course next door. This keeps him on the road in wonderful East Anglia, where it never ever rains - daytime.
