Hi all my lg42px5 has now power light when turned on from the t.v. have changed plug fuse the remote control has been bashed a bit but light flashes green

on control can anbody help a novice PLS

LG 42PX5D dead standby power supply psu repair kit YPSU-J006A its on ebay would that do?

any other members can you help..

you can get a replacement psu for 49.99
from emos tv spares try it might cure fault
it or try a repair kit

hi if its not the psu whats the worst i can expect?
would it be worth repairing if components are blown

having no t.v over new years really gonna be

Hi,
I think the repair kit is basically a number of electrolytic capacitors.
You could check these yourself, if any of the power-supply caps. are bulged
at the top, the repair kit might work.
