HI ALL first post,great site,just wondered if anyone has come across one of these samsung tvs,the fault ive got is it switches on picture stays on for about two seconds and then vanishes,sound can still be heard,is it inverter?or lamps?any advice would be most welcome,thanks in advance,sam :sign0085:

Hi,
Sorry don't recognise that model, but probably the inverter PCB,
could be a faulty transformer on that board.
Do the electrolytic capacitors on the power-supply look Okay (not bulged)?

should that be a 457C1D
if so check QB802 for dry joints. On power board

yes spot on it is a 457,no dry joint on said component,have ordered another psu,fingers crossed this will cure it and get a grumpy customer off my back,oh the bill the bill, :72:thanks for all your help,keep up all the good work and i will be posting more now im no longer a virgin poster :thumbup:
