Hello group,
When switched on the led flashes then the relay clicks.
No sound or picture.
I disconnected the upper buffer board (LJ92-01491A)(LJ41-05121A)
and the bottom half lit up (low brightness)but no picture.
Sound is ok, so must be tuned in.
I removed the Y-Sus board (LJ92-01490A)(LJ41-05120A)
and found C5715,C5709,C5300 680uf 25v domed.
These were replaced but no improvement.
I have checked the FET's are ok and checked for dry joints.
Any help would be good.

Hi Ian,

Has the buffer board got FET's fitted to it?
If yes they are likely to have failed
Try taking the buffer out and carry out a resistance check between earth and all the socket connections to the screen ribbons(it takes a while!)

If your buffer is faulty, it is likely to have been taken out by the Ysus
