hi all i recently sent a post requsting if anyone had a service manual, for the lg42pc1da-ec / lg42pc1da model plasma tv,
i have just bought the above service manual, and i will be uploading it to this site in due course,
i am however in need of the lgids software,
any help would be greatly appreciated

I upload all new software to update plasma tv LG42PC1DA

But you must have Service remote control,RS232 cable and adapter to do that.

have you got the service manual on here, i did look but i couldent find it,
if not i will gladly upload it , i bought it yesterday the size is approx 12mb in pdf

appologize for down loading it so many times, it just didnt show up where i had downloaded it to,
i will switch computer over to other op sys (xp) much better than this vista and try again

i have tried to upload it but it comes up with an error, i see there has already been a link posted,

hello. actually the service r\c is not needed for the cortez and hudson downloads, to put the set in burn in mode it is, so sorry for butting in, we are lg main dealers and if u are in the uk we may lend your our adapter , along with a appropriate s\ware. its a bit tricky to do but lg supply step by step instructions if required, hope this helps
