Sharp LC-32SB24U
« on: May 02, 2012,11:40:44 »
The stand by light will flash 5 times which indicates a lamp problem. I removed and tested the 5 inverter transformers and they test fine. I pulled and tested the power mosfets Q7502 & Q 7504 ( J655) and tested with an analog meter. With the black on drain and red on source, touched the drain and gate and needle goes up to the top of the scale, stops and then drops about as fast as it went up. Am I safe in saying they are bad? The electrolytics have good ESR and do not show shorts
The board number is RUNTKA448WJQ2. I have not tested the lamps, I can get a full picture at times for a second or two and it does not appear to have any dark spots, and I do not have a lamp tester. I can't find a service manual or a schematic, so if anyone has any ideas where I can find one or any ideas about the problem with the set I thank you in advance
