Hi folks,

Have a nice 'Sherwood' amp in for repair, need a couple of SAP08 Darlington output chips - N and P, anyone got some - Cheapish - Chris.

Hi Jordan and Keith,

Thanks a lot - note that the only UK supplier with stock wants £20+ per chip, Wiltsgrove has them listed at under a fiver a piece but currently has no stock. Will check ASWO, but as it's Chas Hyde, expect prices exceeding my imagination.

Just wondered if anyone had some, or a duff 'Sherwood', as they have quite a lot of these chips.

Tried Nikko, as you do - available but expensive. Thought is, after changing the two chips and the other cremated bits, the amp still doesn't go, bit of a loss - hence checking for old stock chips.
