i d'nt understand the fault you have,does it go completely off
or just the pic,and why change tcon

The original problem was the screen only stayed on for a matter of seconds,was told it may be the power board no working properly,ok,so I sourced another tv set which only fault was a smashed screen so I knew the power board was ok,as the set stayed on.
So by swapping the board into the original set it still acted in the same way,the only thing I noticed was the light on the top board would only stay on for a matter of seconds,I was unable to try this board from my donor set as it was different to the original,still a lcd32880hdf but donor set was like a 'facelifted' version,hence why I need to try another board.
