Finally managed to sort it out after replacing 10V zener diode zd501 which brought it back to life :)

I had to take a picture of the diodes and then blow them up to view the component parts numbers. Once this was done it was far easier to identify the components.
Parts blown were STRW6251, FR501(5 Watt 0.16Ohm resistor), zd501 (10v zener diode .5W), and zd504 (22V zener diode .5W).
