Vestel 17PW15-9 with possible earth leakage problems

Hi folks,

Had a set in where cust said that on plugging in tv, fuses blew. Found 2 set fuses OK and set worked fine so changed the mains input panel thinking switch problems, also checked mains continuity to earth where it read 4m7 as expected, and the two PS ceramic caps checked OK on the Avo (don't now use my wind up 500v 'Megger' on modern stuff)

Came back today as had flipped the house RCD (not fuses) - bit puzzled, any ideas - Chris.

PS - Ordered a plug in RCD thingy, never needed one B4.

Discovered when set came back with original IEC plug mains lead, the set puffed smoke - carbonised plug problem, had it before where it also duffed up the socket, but had forgotten.
