I have this fault that after about 20mins the picture goes sort of smeary, like it is flaring on colours. Some colours are slightly patterning etc. Is this in the service menu set up, and if so could anyone tell me how to enter this mode please.

Enter service mode:Press POWER OFF,INFO,MENU,MUTE,POWER ON in sequence from RC

Check the T-Con to see if it has a AS15-F IC on it - if so change the IC (or Tcon if easier for you)...

I'll second that, Tellyfix. It could be AS-15F, G or U, a 48pin surface mount IC. You could try hitting it with freeze spray. If the fault clears for a short time, that'll be it.

Clean the PCB and connectors and Resold first.
