LG Plasma 50PK760ZC chassis PD02A
« on: May 23, 2013,13:22:41 »
Need diagram / service manual for LG 50 PK 760 ZC._ When I turn on TV, both relays click and the red light goes out. The screen lights up for a few seconds._ After this, all dead.
_ There are 5 volts st.by to the mainboard, which then turns on the power supply unit._ All voltages in the power supply is present. The 17v and 5 volts (P_5V) sent to the mainboard, but P_5v does not reach the multi power Ic and others, but disappears somewhere on the board._ (EAX61141603)._ If I pull a wire from L501 to IC503 input, tv works perfectly, but I would like to find the defective part on the main board. This main board to Z model has only one scart socket and is not similar to the other._ Hope someone can send me a diagram / service manual so I can make a real repair on my TV, although little fudge made it. Please direct to my mail: perbirgit1@gmail.com

5v, 17v and output for U sus and Z sus board are OK. The relays are only clicking one time = it does not shut off and try Again. All the voltages from PSU are OK. The problem is on mainboard. I just cant find a diagram for this model with only 1 scart.

see link below for a picture of the PCB. The Voltages at the input of the IC was only 0.7 v. Now they are 5.03 volts and everything works, but the black wire is just a temporary repair. Somewhere there is a broken or burnt wire or a faulty IC. Need diagram to find it.

Hi Jordan. The problem was Q501. Without a diagram, I would not until later have discovered that the 5 volts for USB was not present.
Thanks again for your help.
