Hi, ive had this in a while, and tbh was going to scrap it. it has top half of the picture perfect, but bottom half is unreadable pixles.
ive changes the lower buffer twice, and had a few ysus panels



any ideas would be greatful , cheers

Looks like a screen fault, looks to be more than half the screen which rules out buffer.

yea i thought about screen fault but ive never come accross this fault before

Disconnect a ribbon cable from the good part of the screen. See if you get the same effect, if the top of the poor picture isn't in line with a buffer ic then it must be the screen. I think

as suspected, after disconnecting the screen ribbon, it left a horizontal black bar

I have seen that on sets that we've run without a lower buffer in.you don't always get a blank screen, I don't see how as clark97 says it seems to be above half way but I'd say you have no vs, just va.

got me thinking about this, and the picture shown isnt showing all the screen above the boxes making it look short, but it is defonatly even 50/50
