only the LED is flashing nothing more
can anybody help me please

flashing standby light and refusing to come out of standby very common when secondary output capacitors go pop ! on the PSU have a look around the top right corner for bulged or leaking capacitors theres loads of threads about new caps then eeprom reset etc
seldom bested often bamboozled!

 Hi,try this:unplug the connector from the psu to the main board and apply mains.if the psu is ok the  backlights (led) will lit then you have to check the main board.

The mainboard was defect

When you said the main board was at fault did you mean the power board PD46AF1E I would like to know as I have the same fault. I can hear the relay tripping on the power board..... :c017: Thanks
