Panasonic TX-P50X20B blinking

Ah ha, so it was Flash Jordan who brought up IC9801. Now I know he's a clever dick and has my admiration, but IC9801 provides 5V and 1.2V from the F15V supply, and I doubt your problem lies there. May have to eat those words yet.

My first port of call would be the SC board, even though no short may be apparent across connector SC2. F15V is fed to this board, and most cases of code 10 that I've had have involved the SC board.

Carry out the test in the attachment to determine if the SC board is to blame. Make sure you short out the 2 pins of socket SC50. A small crocodile clip will do. And we'll proceed from there.

Don't worry that the attachment refers to code 7. The end result should be the same.

How would I get one of those jigs?

downunder:

There's no need to get one. It's merely a shorting link to connect the 2 pins in the white socket SC50. As I mentioned, you can achieve the same by clamping the 2 pins with a small alligator clip....or is it a crocodile clip....whatever.         Bruce

Still blinking 10 times with that test, but just incase it's rrelevant, there is a relay that clicks, 3 times quickly then another once after about 2 seconds

OK, well that rules out SC, SU, SD boards. See if the error code changes if you disconnect the SS board from the power supply and turn it on. Might be best if you also disconnect it from the SC board. So remove connectors SS3 and SS11 on the SS board and turn it on.

After that, only the P and A boards are left.              Bruce
