Samsung LE32B450C.

Volume goes up and down by itself and no handset response.....  any clues on a reset or other info?

Hello mate well you must unplug the local keyboard because the buttons must be stuck!

Button strip is a common fault, part number: BN96-07269A
CHS: 15011WQ,  £11.70 incl VAT

Spot on both of you.

Yes, I'd tried that before coming back here.... and it worked!

What fooled me was it would go up and down all by itself, had this with the old CRT telly's, my first time with a LCD, I was instructed to leave it disconnected so I did.

What misled me was that if it was the button it would do one or the other and not both, sometimes it would be fine.

Sure as heck as soon as I plugged the panel back in the fault re-appeared and stopped when disconnected.
