17IPS10-3 - Old chestnut for Crimble

Hello folks,

Have been changing those two 5pf 3kv caps for Backlight cut off (see previous files) for some years now. Notice some sets are returning for the same problem where fresh caps again do the biz.

Wonder if there are better caps ? - note Fleabay is full of 'em - Wonder what happens to the originals, as a 5 puff isn't much of a cap.

Uprate to 6kv, same value

Anyone know where I can get them for less than £2.00 a pop as Fleabay/Wiltsgrove/RS don't have 6kv versions.

Hate to pay well over genuine postage costs for something essentially cheap - No names - Thanks, Chris.

PS - just for fun tried series 10pf 3kv - backlight died after an hour - wonder why ? Got some £2 pounds a pop caps coming, as cust wants to see Crimble.
