Thanks Jordan :)  :13:

Just bought a Sony camera with some memory stcks from a car boot sale this morning £5! A selection of memory sticks and have just flashed the FEE card succesfully :)
For anyone interested used the camera to format the memory card a 16MB 'Memory Stick' (not a memory stick pro!)

Thanks for all your help as it saved me sending the card off to get it flashed.
TV now fully functional on Freeview and not switching off and on so a Happy Bunny :) Happy Easter

 Be lucky and happy  :c017:

Just for anyone interested this may also resolve issue with FEE card with flashing 9 fault on the wax2 series chassis. Worst case scenario always worth flashing it it cannot break it may always resolve issue.

Regards Anthony

Hi Folks,

Had the problem a while ago and it seems that only early Sony 8Mb memory sticks will do the job using the Sony camera connected, and larger modern Sony memory sticks just don't seem work, for some reason.

Just a thought, as my 'Nine flash' was a duff Fee board where an update couldn't recover it, though I tried with a trusted 8Mb  Memory stick.

So changed the Fee board from screen smash scrap - OK - Chris.

Well done Cheeky, tried a later stick and as you suggested - it doesn't work, tried copying data to computer from 8Mb stick, but not having a Sony camera, natch' it didn't work as computer saw no files.

You can download a utility that if you have a sony memory reader it will format the memory stick in the correct format, that way you don't have to have a sony camera to format it!
I was lucky i picked up a selection of sony memory cards and camera for a £5 at car boot! I suspect that the newer memory cards (duo) are just too fast for the TV to recognise the older ones are significantly slower in operation.
Here is the link for it

I only used the DM2.5.515.ZIP file to update the FEE board the others i couldn't use them as they required other hardware to update the several packages which i don't own. TV is still working well without any issues with freeview and the epg.
Good Luck
