Does any one know if TV Tony is still available re 3251 power supply problems.
As many others, the photo of Alun's board could be mine.

the FSP212-3F01 psu is notorious for blowing other parts when the caps go pop.
see attachment (which is a general "fix-all-possible-problems-at-once" kinda thing. check the parts first if possible)
If you can't get it fixed, i've got one collecting dust somewhere (out of a noname 32" tv with cracked panel)

edit:   .. didn't notice how old that post was

that's alright the tv is still not working, think will source a replacement power board, have seen one online for £55 so might get it fixed, in the mean time i got my hands on a new cheap lcd. thanks for you post at least interesting that could almost be any part on the board that could be a fault?

HI if you still have the psu
replace all the caps on the secondary side not just the 2 1500uf
Change Q7 ( bc848 ) and ZD4 15 volt zener diode as a start point usually fixes
