KDL 46 HX 823 STANDBY 4 FLASHES MESSAGE

 HI GUYS ANYONE WORKED ON A KDL 46 HX 823 46" SET

POWER UP STANDBY 4 FLASHES.....THIS MESSAGEW INDICATES BACK LIGHT PROBLEMS BUT DO NOT KNOW IF APPLYS TOT HIS ONE.

OVER COMPLICATED AS USUAL   MAIN POWER BOARD, INVERTER CONNECTED TO LDVS

The HX823 is edge lit by LEDs. Code 4 is indeed a backlight problem. A test of backlights is to remove the LVDS cable, then hold the Power button on the TV as you plug it into the mains. You should get 2 seconds of backlight, then they go off. Can be repeated ad nauseum . May give you a chance to spot any bad LED strip.
