Hi there,
I have a massive problem with my Samsung LE32A436T1DXKS I purchased about 5 years ago. Since 2 weeks it stopped recognizing my sat-receiver. I could fix it sometimes by tapping it gently by the side.
Now I hoped to fix it by cleaning it out... BAD IDEA!! I got rid of the dust and rid of my "tapping" solution. Now it´s completely gone. The main menu and all things work but not the Signal input sources from all 3 HDMI
I have some ideas about caps gone wild, but not here the PU seems to work fine the inverter looks in good shape as is the rest (Fotos attached). The only thing that seems a little used is one flat cable going from the mainboard to a central location from the LCD. I don´t really know if this cable plays a role in the HDMI-detection. None the less the TV detects that I have a device running on the HDMI input source by telling me "No Signal". Then, when I am turning it off it say´s no source connected. So it does recognize there is something connected. But it does not take the signal...
My first idea was to change the Mainboard (BN94-02741D) --> See Foto , but since there is no mainboard out there for me to change I ask you if you can give me some hints where the error could be. I can measure out but not the whole board. I would get crazy out of it. Also if someone knows that it would be a processor or some chip I do not get. Then i was worth while asking. But maybe someone has an Idea if the HDMI-Ports are interconnected with some source that might be broken, because this error happens with all three HDMI-Input sources.
I would be glad to hear from you.
Sincerely
Daniel
