Author Topic: 17ips16-4 No standby power on Digihome 19inch TV Vestel chassis (Read 8406 times)

Been lucky to be given a 19inch Digihome combined dvd and TV.
Found the manual for the power supply for it and found no 5V standby on it (no leds on front of TV)
Anyone had any experience with repairing the 17ips16-4 psu?

Any help welcome just looking at it now :)

Thanks Jordan i have uploaded it already in my post. It looks like there is no VDD on pin5 of ic805 SG6859A looking at the ic it should be around 20V so i am looking at the circuit now and checking it.

Check resistance on 400V line (R-815,816,817 all 100R),C-807 (22uF/50V) and zener diode D-807 (22V)

Just been checking it out and the values on the smd components are completely different!
R815 R816 & R947 330k
R817 1M
no C947 C806 and no D807!
D808 all good removed to see if shorted also R947 checked in case it was shorted as well!
Just checked and the SG6859A IC on pin 5 is short cct to ground (around 3ohms)!
So it looks like the ic is fried!
Now to find the ssot SG6859A IC805
