I am new to this forum. I joined this forum to get help with a problem I am facing with my above mentioned old TV. When I plug the tv into the wall socket and switch on the wall socket, there is no standby LED and no reaction. When I press the power switch by the side, after 2 to 3 secs, the picture appears and disappears in a split second and the tv screen is totally blank but the sound is still there. Then after 2 to 3 secs, the red standby LED starts to blink. Then when I press the power switch again, the LED disappears. When I press the power switch again, the whole process repeats. I realize that the LED blinks in a fix sequence. First the LED blinks once, then pause for about a second, then it blinks continuously 4 times and then pause for a second and then the sequence keeps repeating. Can someone please help?
