Hi all, Apologies for the delay in me following up my earlier message.
I'm still having trouble fixing my Philips 37PFL5522D/05 LCD TV. The original problem I had, was that it would switch off after a few minutes, but would work fine after being switched on for 10-20 minutes..The problem did however start to get worse and worse (it would take longer to warm up).
I tried replacing all of the electrolytic capacitors on the Power Board with the small hope that it might have solved the problem (after reading about similar power supply problems on other forums).
I took great care replacing all of the capacitors with high quality Panasonic ones, and unfortunately I'm now getting a Red LED error code (1 long blink and 2 short blinks) and the screen is not switching on at all.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
I guess i could look for a replacement Power supply (board), if i know that is what is causing the problem, although i'd much rather try and fix it myself as the boards i've seen on eBay range from £30-£60.
I'm not very good regarding SMD components, although I do have a multimeter, and a cheap ESR meter.
Once again if anyone can help i'd be very grateful indeed.

Hi everyone, just a quick update on the problem I previously had with my Philips 37PFL5522D/05.
I recently managed to get a replacement PSU board at a very very cheap price and after swapping it, the LCD TV is now working perfectly.
I'm still not sure exactly what was faulty with my old PSU board but i'm glad the LCD TV is now working properly.
